In accordance with Article 48 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated January 4, 2010 No. 105-Z «On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons in the Republic of Belarus», the grounds for obtaining temporary residence permits by foreigners are:
You should be aware that a temporary residence permit can be issued to family members of a foreigner who has a temporary residence permit, if there is a legal source of income providing the foreigner and his family members a living wage established in the Republic of Belarus for the period of temporary residence in the Republic Belarus. To obtain a temporary residence permit, a foreigner must submit an appropriate application to the department of citizenship and migration of the internal affairs at the place of intended temporary residence, as well as the documents established by subparagraph 12.6. the list of administrative procedures approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of April 26, 2010 No. 200.
For the procedure for obtaining a temporary residence permit, foreigners must be paid a state fee in the amount of 3 basic units. The term for consideration of documents is 15 days.
It is also important to remember that a foreigner holding a temporary residence permit is required to live only at the place of temporary residence specified in his permit. When changing the place of temporary residence, the alien must submit the necessary documents to the internal affairs for a new place of temporary residence for five days to make the appropriate changes
A foreigner who has a temporary residence permit has the right to obtain a multiple exit-entry visa which validity will be equal to the validity of the temporary residence permit. This visa will not have restrictions on the number of border crossings of the Republic of Belarus
